Kyle Duvall is a Los Angeles-based Publicist with a background in film & television publicity, independent filmmaker PR representation, and corporate communications for talent agencies, film festivals, production companies, and TV/film content distributors. Kyle has spearheaded various media strategy campaigns for limited and wide-release theatrical runs, digital/streaming releases, and film festival premieres for features, documentaries, and series at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, TIFF, Outfest, and more.
Before joining the team at VAPR, Kyle was the in-house PR executive for production company Valhalla Entertainment and its Founder/CEO, Gale Anne Hurd (‘The Walking Dead’ franchise, ‘Terminator,’ ‘Aliens’). Prior to Valhalla, he worked his way up from Publicity Coordinator to Publicist at Santa Monica-based entertainment PR agency, Prodigy Public Relations. Kyle also served as an intern for the PR team at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group network, E! Entertainment, where he worked on topline shows including ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ ‘Fashion Police,’ ‘E! News,’ ‘Total Divas,’ ‘Botched,’ ‘I Am Cait,’ and ‘The Royals.’
Some of Kyle’s top-tier media placements include The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Entertainment Weekly, among others. He also has success securing coverage in the Hollywood trade publications (The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline, Indiewire, etc.) and press geared toward the LGBTQ+ community (OUT, The Advocate, etc.). Kyle has also booked talent for broadcast TV appearances on popular news and daytime TV shows including Good Morning America, TODAY, KTLA Morning News, Extra, Access Hollywood, The Real, and Entertainment Tonight.
Born and raised just an hour south of LA in Orange County, Kyle loves Southern California and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.
